The course aims to meet the needs of those who wish to update and enhance their knowledge in those areas of mechanical and manufacturing engineering which are most relevant to the needs of modern industry. It is expected that this will improve students’ career prospects and subsequently lead to Chartered Engineer status.
The first year is a `bridging’ year to ensure that candidates from diverse backgrounds are raised to the same standard before the second year commences.
