Web design and development on today's internet is incredibly multidisciplinary. This programme offers a high-quality design/development web education and provides a multi-disciplined approach that meets employers demands for well-rounded graduates who can implement and manage end-to-end web design and development projects. Graduates from this degree will be knowledgeable of current and emergent web design methodologies and technologies, will have a broad based business awareness (including e-business) and will be taught real-life skills to prepare them for a career in a broad spectrum of companies.

COURSEWORK AND ASSESSMENT

Different methods are used to assess students; coursework assignments and/or examinations. Assignments can take the form of, e.g. individual and/or group work, research reports, analysis and design exercises, and programming exercises.

Demand for suitable professionals is being driven by the rise in web based business applications and the wider e-commerce boom.
