Description/location - Four-storey block on the City Campus built in the 1970s. Stairs to upper floors (no lifts).
Rooms - 156 rooms smaller than average each with wash hand basin.
Shared showers and toilets on each floor.
Provided - Shared kitchens for groups of between 6 and 10 students. Irons and ironing boards. Central heating, fuel costs included in the rent. Possessions insurance included in the rent. Launderette nearby.
You will need to bring - cooking equipment, crockery and bedding. There is no parking available.
Telephone/Internet access - A Freewire internet service is included in the rent.
The Freeview internet service includes a chargeable "softphone service" through a pc or laptop. Details are available at http://www.freewiretv.com/cheapcheep.html. There are no pay phones in most residences and students should bring their own mobile phones.
Conventional telephones and telephone lines are not provided.
