No Smoking Residence
Description/location - Three storey block built in 1992 on the Coach Lane Campus (2½ miles from the City Campus), where the School of Health, Community and Education Studies is based. A free bus service operates between the City and Coach Lane.
Rooms - 42 rooms in self-contained flats for groups of 7 students. Slightly larger than average size, each with wash hand basin.
Shared kitchen/dining room, shower, bath and two toilets in each flat.
Provided - Electric central heating, fuel costs included in the rent. Possessions insurance included in rent. Launderette on campus.
You will need to bring - cooking equipment and crockery, iron, ironing board and bedding. There is no parking available.
Telephone/Internet access - In some rooms PCs and laptops with wireless cards can connect to the University network at no additional cost. Conventional telephones and telephone lines are not provided, but can be installed at students' own cost.
Owned and managed by the University.
Also available to Health, Community and Education Studies students on the Coach Lane Campus are four 3-bedroom semi detached houses, with terms and conditions similar to Rothbury Hall.
