Apply for Accommodation

If you have accepted an offer of a place on one of our full-time courses, you will need to think about the kind of accommodation you would like to apply for.

There are over 19,000 full-time and sandwich students at Northumbria University's Newcastle City and Coach Lane campuses, and there are about 4,500 bedrooms in various University residential schemes. Most University rooms are reserved for new students each September, but returning/continuing students are also eligible to apply for a limited time.

University residences provide a great environment for UK and overseas students to mix. Students have a unique opportunity to develop culturally as well as academically, as there are students from around the world living in our residences.

Don't forget that your choices are not restricted to University residences - you can also obtain private accommodation.
