Newcastle rated as UK’s best city for students - Again!

Lettings website accommodationforstudents.com asked undergraduates across the UK to review their university towns and cities. Newcastle received the highest overall score. This follows similar results from a survey from MSN Travel, which awarded Newcastle the title of “Best University City” in 2009 and again in 2010. Newcastle has also been awarded the title of the “UK’s Greenest City”.

This latest survey research is based on 13,285 student reviews, with students from over 100 university towns rating their university location.
 
Newcastle is extremely popular with both international and UK students for a wide range of reasons. It is seen as a safe and friendly city. The cost of living and going out is lower than many other cities. It also boasts attractive architecture, great transport links and there are lots of cultural and sporting attractions for students to see and do.
