Whatever level or stage you are at, we have a starting point for you. The Return to Learning Service offers information, advice and guidance for potential mature students on the following: 

> All Northumbria courses and study opportunities

> How to choose, how to prepare, how to apply

> HEFC's - Northumbria's adult access programme with local colleges in the North East

> Other Access Courses - preparatory or foundation courses 

Perhaps you would like to talk to someone about your situation, or try one of the activities offered to help you make your decisions?

We currently offer:

> One-to-one bookable appointments with a qualified advisor

> Free short Taster Courses for Mature Students to try out university study

> Open Days, and campus tours

You may be concerned about some of the practicalities of study. We can put you in touch with specialist sources of help within the University to advise you on money matters, childcare or disability.
