CRB Applications
2012/2013 DETAILS
In order to take Students into Schools, you must first apply through Students into Schools for a National Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Enhanced Disclosure of Criminal Convictions and an Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) registration, before you can be offered a placement. In order to do this you are required to attend a CRB clinic.
On attendance you MUST bring with you:
- ONE proof of ID e.g. passport, driving licence, or birth certificate.
- TWO proof of address which must be on official letterhead and less than THREE months old.
You must bring the following documentation: passport, driving licence if applicable, National Insurance card/number, and two official documents in your name as proof of your current address which must be less than 3 months old and not from the University or anything printed off the internet e.g. tenancy agreement, utility bills, bank statement, NHS card, TV licence etc.
**WE WILL CONTACT YOU SOON WITH REGARDS TO THE CRB WORKSHOPS THAT TAKE PLACE IN SEPTEMBER **
Please note that failure to comply with this request will mean that you will not be allowed to undertake student tutoring and will be asked to choose another module.
You will be allocated your placement once you have indicated your preferences through Blackboard and attended an induction lecture at the start of semester.
If you have any queries regarding any of the above please do not hesitate to contact Joyce Matthews at careers@ncl.ac.uk
