2. If you never received your original Certificate
All Certificates are sent out shortly after graduation. If you did not receive yours it is probably because the address the University had for you at that time was out-of-date. Your certificate will have been returned to the University and will still be on our files. In such cases, there is no charge for original certificates.
Contact Northumbria University Academic Registry on +44 (0)191 227 4600 or email rg.certificates@northumbria.ac.uk, with your name and family name (whilst at Northumbria), your date of birth, subject of study and graduation year plus your current address, email and telephone details.
3. Transcripts
A document detailing the list of subjects you studied during any part of your course, is called a Transcript and is issued by the University's Academic Registry.
Northumbria University does not hold transcripts for students who attended during our Newcastle Polytechnic era as they were not administered by the University. Regrettably, we are unable to produce transcripts for this period. Similarly, transcripts for this period are unavailable from the Open University.
For more details on replacement transcripts and payment options please visit the relevant Academic Registry web page.
Please note, Academic Registry charge £25 for a replacement of the official transcript.
FOR YOUR INFORMATION
Please allow plenty of time for your transcript and certificate requests to be processed. Whilst every effort is made to deal with your request as promptly as possible, the University is unable to guarantee processing them to specific deadlines.
