Students' Union

The Students' Union at Northumbria University is the social heart of student life. Run by students for students, everyone who enrolls with the University automatically becomes a member and can therefore enjoy all the benefits the Union offers.

As an enrolled student, whether full time, part time or distance learning, you are entitled to join the Students’ Union (SU). There are many benefits to becoming a member. Not only is there an exciting social life organised by the entertainments committee, but the SU is also there to represent and support you in a more official capacity should the need arise.

Your Union Card will entitle you to a discount in a range of stores (Topman, HMV, Pizza Hut). You also need your Union Card in order to vote in University elections.
