BSc (Hons) Computer Forensics

Three year full time/four year sandwich/five year part time programme delivered by School of Computing, Engineering and Information Sciences at Northumbria's City Campus.

With the growth in computer crime the field of computer forensics has developed. Computer forensics covers areas of prevention, detection and correction as well as coverage of legal and professional issues all of which focus on the practice of obtaining 'legally safe' evidence of criminal activity. The course covers the underlying computer principles of programming, problem-solving, design networks and databases, and as such has much in common with other courses in the computing portfolio.
