Postgraduate Research Fees 2012/13

Tuition fees and any other additional charges are payable upon enrolment with the University as a student. Postgraduate research fees for 2012/13 are now available via the links below.

Students who commence their studies mid-way in the academic year may have their tuition fee reduced as follows:
1 August – 30 November - annual fee, no reduction
1 December – 31 March - annual fee reduced by one third
1 April – 31 July - annual fee reduced by two thirds

When active research is completed and students are no longer receiving supervision, but still require access to University facilities (library, email, etc), a Registration Fee applies instead of the fees above. Please note, students submitting in one financial year, i.e. prior to 31 July and awaiting examination, will not be required to pay the fee for the next financial year, i.e. from 1 August, (although they will still need to enrol to retain access to email). Once the examination has been held, the requirement for payment of a fee will be re-assessed according to the outcome of the examination. Please note: NBS students are required to apply to be put onto the registration fee, demonstrating that they are no longer receiving active supervision (forms available from the PGR Administrator).
