Employability

As well as outstanding teaching standards we maintain an impressive graduate employability record, despite the difficulties in the current market.

Our Careers and Employment Service can help students prepare for the world of work and help them find their first job.

Placements

It has long been established that students gain both academically and personally from a period working in a professional environment as part of their University programme.  Experience and feedback has also proven that employers benefit a great deal too from taking a placement student.

Download our Placement Guide for Employers and find out how your business could benefit from employing a placement student.

Student Mentoring

Are you able to spare some time to share your experience and be a mentor to one of our students?

As a mentor you can:

• Provide support to students during their studies and provide practical solutions to problems
• Help a student to develop their networks and get their first job
• Put something back and enjoy a rewarding experience of volunteering
• Network with others in the industry

If you are interested in becoming a student mentor please contact our Employer Engagement team at the address/phone number to the right of this page.
