Sustainable Cities Research Institute
The Sustainable Citities Research Institute (SCRI) is a research institute based in the School of the Built and Natural Environment.
The research includes policy development that aims to reconcile the differing economic and social needs of urban populations in ways that are sustainable. These can be principles of futurity, equality and participation; concentrating on quality of life and meeting needs rather than simply producing commodities.
The Sustainable Cities Research Institute web pages are currently under redevelopment and will be launched in a few weeks.
In the meantime, for any questions specifically related to the work of SCRI, please email gill.davidson@northumbria.ac.uk
