New postgraduate BIM provision in the School of the Built and Natural Environment
The School of the Built and Natural Environment is playing a pivotal role in BIM technologies - particularly the new postgraduate qualification in Building Design Management and BIM
In a recent article published in Building, Steve Lockley, Professor of Building Modelling at Northumbria University, said: “Teaching at the School of the Built and Natural Environment is very connected to industry and there is a very real need for people in this field to have the right level of training in BIM”.
Set to start in September, the new Masters course is targeted at construction industry professionals who want to upgrade their skills to improve project delivery and design management in a BIM enabled future. The BIM Academy’s strong connections with industry and track record of leading edge research should ensure the course aligns with the most up to date and relevant technologies and processes.
