Environmental Management Graduate Youtube Hit
Graduate wildlife films get thousands of hits on Youtube
![]() |
Former Environmental Management Graduate Michael Hancock has become a Youtube hit after filming wildlife in Jesmond Dene, a park in Newcastle’s East-end.
After completing his degree Michael started as a ranger in Sugley Dene, Lemington, before joining Ouseburn Parks in the North East two years ago when he started filming in the park, using high definition cameras and infra-red lights. His films often take hours of waiting in the dark, overnight, to capture the wildlife. Some of the highlights of Michael’s filming include three week old fox cubs being brought out of the sett by their mother for the first time and Dipper chicks hatching.
