I am a world-systems analyst interested in political geography and urban geography. I am founder and Director of the Globalization and World Cities (GaWC) Research Network. Currently I am trying to understand the relations between cities and states in a forthcoming book: Extraordinary Cities – Cities and States in their Geohistorical Tango towards Globalization.Key Publications
