Dr Fouad Khelifi
I am currently a lecturer within the computing team
where I am involved in the teaching of various modules in databases and
Java programming. I am also a member of the Computer and Electronic
Security Systems (CESS) group. I graduated from the
University of Jijel, Algeria with the ‘Ingenieur d’Etat’ degree in
electrical engineering in 2000 and received the ‘Magistere’ degree in
electronics from the University of Annaba, Algeria, in 2003. I then joined
the Queen’s University of Belfast as a research student and received the
PhD degree from the School of Computer Science in 2007. From 2003 to 2004,
I was a Lecturer at the University of Jijel. I also held a research
position in the Digital Media and Systems Research institute, University of
Bradford for about two years. My research interests lie in the fields of
image and video processing, image/video coding, image/video watermarking,
authentication and perceptual hashing, pattern recognition and
classification.
