There will be a salaried third year placement and graduates from this course go on to become systems analysts and information technology managers, etc.

The principles, techniques and skills of computer forensics can be used to catch cyber criminals by identifying digital fingerprints and cybertrails of evidence. The UK needs more computer forensics specialists to combat the growing problem of cybercrime.

This top-up degree programme aims to produce electronic engineering graduates with the necessary skills and attributes to take up roles within the mobile communications industry as professional engineers. It aims to produce graduates who, with strong practical and design skills, can apply existing and emerging technology in the modern engineering environment.

This programme has been created to meet a global demand for expertise in designing secure computer systems and networks and reducing the threat of computer crime. During this course, students will develop a balance of creative and management skills together with the necessary base knowledge of applied production, engineering and materials technology.
