Renewable Energy and Sustainable Technologies
In close link with Energy Systems and Advanced Materials Group, we are also active in the areas of Wind Energy and High Performance Structures and Materials. The research facilities include Composites and Lightweight Structures fabrication workshop with facilities for the preparation, processing and testing of composite materials; two micro wind turbines; in-house software tools for simulation and design of wind turbines; and a high performance FEA suite for structural analysis of anisotropic composite materials.
