I am trying to develop some sort of high speed communications using visible LEDs. There has been little work done in Visible Light Communications and it is a relatively new area of research. This made me interested in doing research in this field. There are different possible applications of Visible Light Communications such as transmitting broadband information in offices that are already lit or for vehicular communications (e.g.,Car to Car Communications, Ground-to-Train Communcations, etc).
