The School of Law at Northumbria provides a suite of law and law-related programmes aimed at meeting the needs of a wide range of students.

Traditional Law Programme 3 years full-time 

For those wishing to study for three years there is a traditional LLB (Hons) route that results in a Qualifying Law Degree.

Innovative Law Programmes  4 - 5 years full-time

For those who aspire to enter the legal profession the School's well established, innovative four-year integrated Exempting Law Degrees enable students to combine academic and vocational stages in one programme.  

Specialist Law Programmes 3 years full-time

Our specialist Law Plus programmes provide an integrated Qualifying Law Degree. The specialist non-law modules enable students to develop a knowledge and understanding of the inter-relationship between law and their chosen additional area of study.

Flexible Law Programmes  4 - 6 years part-time or distance learning

The School has over 30 years' experience of teaching the LLB (Hons) on a flexible basis.
