University of Zagreb visits Northumbria
Colleagues and students from the University of Zagreb, Croatia visited Northumbria School of Law last week.

The visit, arranged by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and sponsored by the British Embassy, took place over two days and allowed the visitors to gain an insight into the Law School’s hugely successful clinical legal education scheme.
The visitors took part in various sessions including a panel discussion comparing clinical legal education experiences and a staff seminar comparing Eastern and Western European approaches to clinical legal education. They also spent time in the award-winning Student Law Office observing students preparing their case work and informally discussing their experiences.
