null School's Marketing Challenge 2012
Two Year 12 students from Burnside Community College have won first prize in the annual Marketing Challenge ran by Newcastle Business School at Northumbria University. Schools across the region were invited to take part and submit entries to the competition, which asked students to devise a promotional campaign for Newcastle Business School’s undergraduate programmes.

null GlobeMania: international event by students for students raised money for charity
On the evening of the 2nd of February, Newcastle Business School developed a severe case of GlobeMania, which resulted in over 150 students (and some lecturers) from around 15 nationalities coming together to enjoy a unique international experience, full of multicultural entertainment, food from around the world and fundraising for charity.

Local charities will benefit from the marketing skills of student volunteers from Newcastle Business School, Northumbria University. This month marks the official launch of the Newcastle Business School Marketing Volunteering Scheme 2011/12. The initiative allows undergraduate students with a marketing specialism to donate their time to help seven nominated charities with their marketing activities.
