Dr Stephanie Macht, Principal Lecturer and Programme Director

Dr. Stephanie Macht is Programme Director for the Undergraduate Business and Management programmes and a Principal Lecturer in Strategic Management and International Business at Newcastle Business School. Stephanie’s doctoral thesis investigated the post-investment involvement of business angels in entrepreneurial ventures. While business angels are still at the centre of her research interests, she has also developed research in the areas of entrepreneurial finance generally, as well as in small business management and entrepreneurship education.
Prior to her academic career, Stephanie has worked in the marketing and finance departments in the French, German and British subsidiaries of an internationally operating medium-sized business. That background initiated her interest in both international business and small business management/entrepreneurship.
