This programme offers you the chance to enhance your professional development opportunities by equipping you with the knowledge and skills demanded of a career in the international sport management industry. You will be encouraged to think critically and innovatively, and to engage with a host of international sport organisations. You will develop your ability to think strategically, apply the principles of sport management in an international context and to construct solutions to international sport management issues. The programme culminates in a residential visit to an international sport event organisation.

The MSc in Nutrition and Psychological Sciences explores different aspects of nutrition, from both a biological and a biopsychological perspective, focusing on interactions with brain and behaviour. An important aspect of the course is the acquisition of core research skills that can be transferred into the industrial workplace, health domain or academic context. Successful graduates will be able to demonstrate a critical understanding of relevant areas of nutrition and psychological sciences, and the interaction between the two.

This course is the first stage of practitioner training for Chartered Occupational Psychologists. This course develops strong analytical, research and writing skills, BPS Level A qualification in psychometric testing, provides qualifications to apply for a job as an occupational psychologist in private business, government or non-profit organisations and can be used as a stepping-stone towards a role in human resources or training. It also offers a credential for teaching and for research-related positions.

This new course provides a grounding and training in research methods and skills. It aims to provide a broad and practical education in psychological research training which is informed by staff research experience. The course develops strong analytical, research and writing skills and provides qualifications to apply for a job as a Research Assistant or for higher level research training i.e. MPhil or PhD.

This programme is designed for non-psychology graduates who wish to acquire a comprehensive knowledge of psychology, including social, developmental, cognitive and biological psychology, individual differences, and research methods and philosophies, along with an awareness of ethical issues and professional practice. A focus on transferable skills appropriate to a career in psychology helps students prepare for the world of work and pursue lifelong learning. Successful completion of the MSc programme provides students with the opportunity to acquire the Graduate Basis for Registration (GBR) with the British Psychological Society (BPS), the first step towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist. GBR is currently a requirement for entry onto professional practitioner Stage 1 training in clinical, counselling, educational, forensic, health, occupational and sport & exercise psychology.
