Cognition and Communication Research Centre (CoCo)
The Cognition and Communication Research Centre (CoCo) is a University-recognised research centre that examines how both adults and children communicate about and conceptualise the world in which we live. Research funding to the centre is in excess of 1.8 million pounds since 2001, including major grant from three of the UK research councils (ESRC, EPSRC, AHRC), the NHS and industry.
Research in CoCo is focussed around four main themes: Language and Perception, Psychology and Communication Technology, Cognition and Ageing, and Developmental Learning Disability.
