  • M.Sc. Earth & Atmospheric Sciences, University of Alberta, Canada, 1993-1995. The influence of superimposed ice formation on the sensitivity of glacier mass balance to climate change.
  • PhD, School of Geography, University of Leeds, 1995-1999. Structural glaciology of Kongsvegen, Svalbard, using ground-penetrating radar.
