SSLH Postgraduate Conference
Histories of Activism
Bishopsgate Institute is hosting a postgraduate conference on the theme 'Histories of Activism' on Saturday 26 November 2011. The conference is organised by Northumbria University's Histories of Activism research group, in association with the Society for the Study for Labour History. It will explore forms of political activism across Europe in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, seeking to place activism within its historical context and looking at the ways it has shaped and defined modern European politics, both within the confines of individual states and through transnational studies.
The full programme can be downloaded on the right. Please visit the SSLH website for further details and directions to Bishopsgate Institute.
