Seminars & Conferences in History
To foster a lively exchange of ideas and promote scholarly discussions, History staff members and postgraduate students are involved in hosting and organising the staff-postgraduate seminar series, as well as a number of international conferences.
Our seminars offer a testing-ground for new research in progress and serve as a platform for visiting scholars, while the conferences hosted at Northumbria University attract large numbers of scholars and students from throughout the UK and further afield.
Our main forthcoming events are listed below; please visit the indivdual event links for more information.
