Professor Jackie Guille has many years of experience as a designer maker, exhibiting in the UK, USA and Europe. Her extensive research and involvement in the development of design education and enterprise within Sub-Saharan Africa and India is internationally recognised..
She has significant knowledge of country-specific contexts and the complexities of the creative industries, informed by her engagement in UK Government (Department for International Development, DfID, Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, DBIS and Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills, DIUS) funded projects and commissioned work for UNESCA, British Council and Traidcraft, UK.
