Mini Design Project

If you are passionate about applying to Fashion BA (Hons) then why not have a go at completing this mini design project? The idea behind this is to help you cover some of the fashion drawing and development skills that we encourage every Fashion Design applicant to include in their portfolio.

Just follow the simple instructions on the PDF document on the right hand side of the page. We’ve included examples and tips at each stage of the project to help you complete it successfully.

This project is totally optional, but can be used in the later stages of the application process if required.

Pre-Portfolio and Interviews

Candidates who meet the initial selection criteria as identified the admissions team will be invited to submit an 8 image mini-portfolio online which will be assessed by an admissions panel with regards to their suitability for the programme. Those applicants who are then selected for interview will be asked to bring their full portfolio with them. Interviews will take place between 13th - 17th February 2012. There may also be other interview dates set for March, which are to be confirmed. We know interviews can be daunting, so we’ve included some Portfolio Guidelines and Interview Tips in this section to help you prepare and perform to the best your abilities.

We want you to get as much as possible out of your interview experience, so we ask you to spend the day with us.  As well as your interview, which will last about 10-15 mins, we also provide a tour of the School, an opportunity to talk to staff and students and the chance to do some creative exercises.
