International, Business and Enterprise Development within Northumbria University can be directly linked to activity and expertise within learning and teaching programme areas and research activity.

International activity has been developed along the following defined themes:

International Students

Business and Enterprise Development activity within the UK centres predominantly around regional and employer engagement. This can either utilise existing learning, teaching or research and enterprise activity already identified within the University's portfolio or can be developed in a customer driven way in response to contemporary health, education and social care agendas.

Although all learning and teaching programme areas and research and enterprise have the ability to initiate new business and enterprise initiatives the University does have a Flexible Learning and Accreditation Centre which specialises in accredited work based learning solutions through workforce engagement.
