RIBA validation for Architecture Professional Diploma
The School of the Built and Natural Environment is pleased to announce that
following a visit from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), the
Professional Diploma in Architecture gained professional accreditation and was
highly commended for its ethos, student excellence and the impressive

RAE 2008
In the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise, 100% of the School’s submission was
rated as ‘nationally significant’ with 90% being internationally recognised,
internationally excellent, or world-leading. This puts the School amongst the
very best performers in research related to Architecture and the Built
Environment.
