To book your place on any of the events, please use the booking form which is available on the left hand menu and on each of the event pages.
LT Academy Exchange is designed to be a flexible series of events over an academic year, including one off events and half day events held monthly. Events are repeated, wherever possible, to assist staff attendance, however if you have problems with attending any of the sessions please do not hesitate to contact us.

PowerPoint Intermediate - 19th March 2010 @ 9.30 - 16.30 in Squires Building Room 203.
This course is designed for those who can create their own PowerPoint presentation but need to extend the complexity of their slide shows.

Outlook 2007: Email - 23rd March 2010 @ 13:30 - 16:30 in Squires Building Room 204
This workshop will enable delegates to use Outlook 2007 more efficiently. You will learn about the additional e-mail features. The workshop will also provide underpinning skills for using an eLearning Portal, eg communicating and posting materials within eLP is very similar to attaching items to an e-mail.

Excel 2007 Introduction - 16th April 2010 @ 09:30 - 16:30 in Squires Building Room 203.
This workshop is aimed at staff who need to know how to create spreadsheets or work on existing Excel spreadsheets, using formatting and calculation tools. Participants will learn the basics of a spreadsheet application and will be able to create and modify calculating spreadsheets.

Introduction to SMARTBoard - Interactive Whiteboard

You have a choice of either of these two hour sessions, 10.30-12.30 or 13.30-15.30 The SMARTBoard is an interactive whiteboard which can enhance presentations. A projector displays your computer desktop onto the interactive whiteboard, which acts as both a monitor and an input device. You can write on the board with digital ink or use your finger like a mouse to control computer applications.
