Car Parking - Students
Applications for Student Parking Permits 2010 - 2011 are now open.
DEADLINE - FRIDAY 24 SEPTEMBER 2010
Please read the following information before completing the online application form.
Applicants will be informed if they are successful by email and will pay online. Permits may be collected at the Estates Office, 4 North Street East, City Campus West, or sent in the post.
The University does not guarantee car parking - wherever possible staff and students should consider other means of transport.
Permits are valid Monday to Sunday. The main University car park at the City Campus East is required for public use Saturdays and Sundays. Permit holders may park at alternative University car parks.
Permits will be valid from 01/10/2010 until 30/09/2011.
Charges

At present we are awaiting confirmation of the cost
of a permit. We will inform successful applicants of the cost as
soon as possible.
Allocation
Allocation is based on the criteria of *disability and / or distance.
*Please note that only students who present an authorised disabled
parking badge registered to them (with their photograph attached) may be
issued with a University car parking permit under this criteria. No
charge will be made for permits issued under this criteria.
Procedure for Application
Please refer to the map ( opens in new window) to confirm eligibility to apply for a car parking permit. Application forms are to be completed and submitted on-line. Please ensure that all relevant sections are completed.
It is important that applicants only apply for themselves and
possess a valid UK Driving Licence. Please read the Conditions of Issue of Parking Permit.

City Campus car parking is available
at:
Coach Lane car parking is available at Coach Lane East. If you do not have a permit you may pay and display at the Coach Lane East Car Park.
PAY AND DISPLAY COSTS
Monday to Friday 0800 - 1700
Upto 2 hours £0.50
Up to 4 hours £1.00
Day Rate £1.50
Out of hours - 1700 - 0800 - £0.50
Saturday and Sunday - Per Day - £0.50
