Public Transport
Newcastle has a great public transport system,
including many brand new buses and there are discounts available for
students using public transport offered by all the local transport
operators. Public transport is a great green choice up there with
cycling and walking, so give it a go. If you have any problems
with travelling to or from Northumbria let the University
Travel Planner know. The Travel Planner can then raise your issues
with the operators themselves and hopefully resolve them for you.
The University backs up public transport with its own inter campus free bus service, and both Stagecoach (1 minute walk) and Metro (approximately 10 minute walk) serve Coach Lane Campuses.
