Procurement Services

The University has a recurrent annual expenditure of £45.5m on supplies, works and services and has a duty to ensure that value for money is obtained through efficient and effective procurement practices including the management of risk and compliance with statutory requirements and the Public Contracts Regulations 2006.

In addition the University has a capital programme that includes building schemes, specialist equipment, communications and related equipment. The capital budget varies each year according to available resources.

Procurement Services is responsible for overseeing all procurement activities within the University and the correct and timely payment of all University payments.
