Staff Training & Development

The following staff training and development opportunities are available for all members of staff. This programme has been designed to reflect the outcomes of appraisal returns received within HR, comments received through a range of forums, feedback from existing events and alignment of activity with overall University development plans.

It is important to emphasise that all staff are eligible to be considered for staff development support, whatever their terms and length of appointment, in accordance with identified needs and priorities and in as cost-effective and varied ways as possible.

The HR Training and Development Team can provide information and advice on in-house Training & Development activities, advice on learning materials available to staff, and possible external sources of assistance. Any comments you have regarding the programme will be gratefully received and will help us to improve the opportunities on offer to staff in the future.
