LTech Staff Development
LTech runs a series of staff development over the academic year. Sessions are repeated, wherever possible, to assist staff attendance, however, if you have problems with attending any of the sessions please do not hesitate to contact us. If the scheduled date/time are unsuitable for you, but you would like to attend specific training i.e Word Intermediate, contact us and your name will be added to the waiting list for the next time the training is held.
Online training materials are also available for the eLearing Portal and PebblePad.

Excel Introduction 2010

This workshop is aimed at staff who need to know how to create spreadsheets or work on existing Excel spreadsheets, using formatting and calculation tools. Participants will learn the basics of a spreadsheet application and will be able to create and modify calculating spreadsheets.

Word Advanced 2010

This course is designed for users of Word (any version) who want to go beyond intermediate tasks. It will give delegates skills in handling complex documents and advanced word processing features. Word users concerned with long and/or complex documents and advanced page layout needs.

This workshop will enable delegates to use Outlook more efficiently. You will learn about the additional e-mail features. The workshop will also provide underpinning skills for using an eLearning Portal, eg communicating and posting materials within eLP is very similar to attaching items to an e-mail.
