Computers

At City Campus library there are over 425 workstations available, all with a standard student desktop.
At Coach Lane library there are over 120 workstations available, all with a standard student desktop.

They provide access to a range of software including Microsoft Office, email, internet and the e-learning portal.  Access to your file storage space (U drive) is available from all workstations and USB memory sticks may be used.

Specialist software is not available but this can be accessed on workstations in school IT labs.

You can bring your own wireless laptop to use in the libraries or borrow one from the enquiry/help desk.

 City Campus Library

• Colour, black & white and duplex (double sided) laser printing is available.
• Printers are located on floor 1 opposite the enquiry desk.
• Machines to add credit to your print account are located on floor 1 and in the library basement

Coach Lane Library

•  Colour, black & white and duplex (double sided) laser printing is available.
•  Printers are located on the ground floor and floor 1.
•  The machine to add credit to your print account is located on the ground floor.

 Print Costs

• Single sided black and white: 5p per A4 sheet.
• Double sided (duplex) black and white: 5p per A4 sheet (2.5p per side).
• Colour: 25p per A4 sheet.

• The university has a wireless network and you may borrow laptops for use at the Law Practice Library and Coach Lane Library.
• You can also connect to the university wireless network using your own laptop provided it is suitably configured.
