Visitors

If you are not a member of Northumbria University Library, but wish to use the Library for reference purposes, you may request a Visitor’s Pass from the Welcome Desk within the Library.  You will be required to produce two forms of identification, including your current address and photo ID.  A Visitor’s Pass entitles you to access the Library during staffed hours for reference purposes only.  Please note that due to licensing agreements, this does not include access to our electronic resources.

If you are a member of another UK Higher Education Institution you may be able to join Northumbria University Library through the SCONUL Access Scheme (see link to the right). Otherwise you can use the Library as a visitor on production of two forms of identification as above.

If you are a student with a disability, please contact Library Staff prior to your visit to discuss any access requirements.  Please contact Ask4Help or call our Enquiry desk on 0191 2274125.

For further information please contact Customer Support, City Campus Library on 0191 227 4736 or email ask4help@northumbria.ac.uk.
