Informal area for individual and group work
The Basement Learning Café at City Campus expresses the importance and understanding of social and informal learning as a fundamental part of the student experience. Bean bags, easy chairs, vending machines and a shop provide students with an informal, relaxed space to discuss their work and conduct group projects.

There is also a Learning Café at the Coach Lane Campus.
IT & Photocopying Facilities
The Basement Learning Café has 28 IT workstations giving access to university software, email and internet etc.
Student Photocopiers are available
Access to the university wireless network, meaning users can bring their own laptop, or loan one from the Library and connect to all our services.
