Digimap Ordnance Survey maps and data

Outline

Digimap Ordnance Survey from EDINA is a service for UK higher education providing various Great Britain Ordnance Survey maps at a number of scales from 1:1250 to 1:250 000, including contours and a digital terrain model (DTM), together with a Gazetteer.

Digimap Classic allows viewing and printing of maps at fixed scales; the Digimap Carto service allows customised map creation. Maps can be printed or the spatial data contained in them can be downloaded for use in local software, such as for GIS. GIS software is available in one of the Applied Science labs or may be downloaded onto personal pcs.
