Refurbishment of Coach Lane Library

All three floors of the Library will be refurbished comprising of new carpets, lighting and decoration. Several new small meeting rooms will be created along with a Research Zone, silent study area and revised book stock layout. In addition Student Support and Wellbeing will be moving from Allendale House into the Library Building from September 2012.

As the book stock will be moving to accommodate this work there may be times when books and journals are unavailable as they will need to be packed into crates to move between the floors.  This will be kept to a minimum and where ever possible we will offer a retrieval service.

The majority of disruption will take place in the following weeks:
9th July Floor 1 moves to the Ground Floor
30th July Floor 2 moves to Floor 1
20th August all book stock moves back to floor 1 and 2.
The project is due to be completed at the end of August.
