You’re Hired! Ed Meikle, partner and head of intellectual property at
Watson Burton LLP will talk about how to get a training contract at a firm
of solicitors. Ed studied at Northumbria, trained at Dickinson Dees
and moved to Watson Burton LLP in 2007. As well as discussing his IP
practice, which includes acting for Premier League football clubs, he will
talk about CVs, the benefits of work experience, interview techniques and
other skills needed to obtain a training contract.
