Whichever year of study you are in it's important to develop your skills, and be aware of what you have achieved. We can help you in a number of ways, call in to the Careers Centre and speak to a member of the team.
- Work Experience - Information on the different types of work exprience.
- Finding Work Experience - There are a number of ways to find work while you study. Northumbria students can find jobs on our vacancy system JobsOnline.
- Volunteering - Information on the benefits of volunteering
- Finding Volunteering Opportunities- Where to look locally and nationally.
- Ethnic Minority Mentoring Scheme - This scheme links successful applicants with mentors from a range of large, well known organisations.
- Student Into Schools - Northumbria University offers the chance to gain academic credit and develop skills on placement in schools through the Student Associates Scheme, see website for more details.
