There are lots of places to look to find vacancies, and much depends on what the job is and where it is based. We can help with finding you a job while you study and finding work when you graduate.

- JobsOnline- Vacancy system for Northumbria students and graduates. We advertise a wide range of jobs and voluntary opportunities. Once registered you can sign up for email alerts to get the latest jobs emailed direct to you.
- Online job search engines - Job search engines enable you to find jobs posted on thousands of company careers sites and job boards. Try indeed.co.uk or simplyhired.co.uk
- Graduate Directories - You can pick up copies of the Prospects and GET directories in the Careers Centre, but we only receive a limited number. You can view vacancies online at Prospects or GET.
- Online Resources - A huge range of vacancies can be found on job websites such as: Monster - www.monster.co.uk, Fish4jobs - www.fish4jobs.co.uk,topjobs - www.topjobs.co.uk,www.milkround.com, www.targetjobs.co.uk, www.justjobs4students.co.uk
- Newspapers and magazines - are a good source, especially for local jobs. The Careers Centre receives a number of publications, including a copy of the Thursday Chronicle (good for student and graduate employment), call in and see what's available on a weekly basis.
- Recruitment Agencies - the Careers Centre holds information on recruitment agencies, call in to find out more.
Jobs Overseas - Useful Sources
- Going Global - Lots of useful information for those looking to move abroad or return home. Includes vacancies which can be searched by country.
