Destination of Leavers of Higher Education Survey
Every year the Careers & Employment Service conduct a survey on behalf of HESA to find out what it's graduates are doing six months after they have graduated. Not all leavers are surveyed as HESA prescribes a set of rules which institutions must follow. However the survey is extensive with most of the information coming from the leavers themselves and it is therefore a reliable picture of what they are doing at that point in time. The target response rate for full-time UK leavers is 80% and the University of Northumbria has consistently met this target. It is from the full-time UK leavers that the data below is taken.
The returned data is published by HESA for individual institutions and these figures can be found on the Unistats website.
