Welfare & International Support

The Welfare & International Support team is here to ensure you get comprehensive advice when you need it. We offer free, impartial and confidential advice for all students on a range of welfare issues and visa and immigration advice for international students. Use the menu on the left to help you find the information you need.

Whilst we strive to respond to telephone calls as quickly and as efficiently as possible, during our busy times there may be a delay as to when an adviser will be able to respond to your query. You may wish to consider sending an email to our team at: sv.welfareandinternational@northumbria.ac.uk which is accessed by our advisers on a regular basis.  Thank you for your understanding.

depend on your household income you may not need to reapply and we will
make contact with you by the end of February 2013.

If you are applying for student finance that depends on your household income
you need to reapply as soon as possible at www.gov.uk/studentfinance
